Q: HOW IS THIS SHOW DIFFERENT FROM THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR SHOW?
A: The Eric Carle Story Show is a BRAND NEW show from the team behind The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show. Featuring four stories - including The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and three never before seen on stage - this show is designed to be highly intimate and more interactive, while maintaining the same very same level of whimsy, craftsmanship, and theatre magic audiences have enjoyed for over 8 years.
Q: WHAT IS THE RUNNING TIME?
A: The Eric Carle Story Show runs approximately 50 minutes with no intermission.
Q: HOW CAN I BUY TICKETS?
A: You may purchase tickets to The Eric Carle Story Show online by clicking the Tickets button above.
Q: ARE VIP TICKETS AVAILABLE?
A: There are no VIP tickets on sale for The Eric Carle Story Show. All seats are $25.00 before fees, and seating is general admission.
Q: ARE GROUP SALES AND PRIVATE BUYOUTS AVAILABLE?
A: Group Sales and buy outs are not avaialble for this show. 
Q: CAN I TAKE PICTURES? WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY?
A: No photography is permitted during the show – it is distracting to performers and discourteous to other audience members. Puppets will come back on stage after the show (with better lighting) for photo opportunities.
Q: IS MY CHILD TOO YOUNG FOR THIS SHOW?
A: Lap seats are available for children 12 months and under which are purchased at the box office DAY-OF-SHOW for $5. If your child is over 12 months, you are still very welcome to seat them in your lap but a full ticket will need to be purchased.
Q: CAN MY CHILD SIT ON MY LAP?
A: Lap seats are available for children 12 months old and under which are purchased at the door for $6 (including a $1 Facility fee). If your child is over one you are still very welcome to seat them in your lap but a full ticket will need to be purchased.
Q: MY CHILD IS ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM / HAS SENSORY ISSUES. IS THIS SHOW SUITABLE?
A: Yes! ALL our shows are inclusive and have been designed to be autism friendly and open to children and families with sensory issues. A quiet area is also available in the foyer during the show for any nervous attendees while the show is running. Click here for more information. A social story is also available to read at home prior to attending to explain what to expect when attending the show.
Q: WHAT IF MY CHILD IS AFRAID TO ENTER THE THEATRE?
A: This is not entirely unusual for first-time theatre-goers. Our experienced House Manager is ready to assist and can show the child pictures from the show and get them comfortable so they can ease their way into the theatre at their own pace
Q: WHERE IS THE THEATER LOCATED?
A: Theater 555 is located at 555 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036 (Between 10th and 11th Avenues.) For a map and directions CLICK HERE.
Q: IS THE THEATER WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
A: Yes, there are ADA seats held in the theater. Theatre 555 is completely wheelchair accessible. There are minimal steps into the theater from the sidewalk, but there is a ramp located to the east side of the Theater.
Q: IS STROLLER PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE THEATER?
A: The lobby at Theater 555 is small and unfortunately cannot accommodate stroller parking. Please leave your strollers at home. Rockefeller Productions and Theater 555 are not responsible for any lost or damaged items left unattended at the theater.
Q: CAN YOU EAT/DRINK IN THE THEATER?
A: No food or drink is permitted in the theater. Water is available for purchase in the lobby before and after the performance.
Q: WHAT IS OUR LATE SEATING POLICY?
A: Our House Management team will let you and your family in at a safe time to do so during the show. It is possible you will have to sit in seats other than the ones you purchased so as to not interrupt other families that have already been seated.
Q: IS MERCH AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THE SHOW?
A: Yes! There is a merch stand in the venue lobby.
